Kitchen Christmas Tree

I'm back, as promised, to show you the small 2 foot tree
I have on the kitchen island.

Last year I had one in the dining room, but was ready for a change
for this year.

We grabbed this tiny tree that same day we got our big
Family tree.

I wanted to decorate it with things from the kitchen, so what better than
Christmas cookie cutters.

And for a little pop of color, I strung vintage gift tags
to the branches.

It's the perfect size for the kitchen.

Do you have a tree in your kitchen?

  2. I don't have a "tree" in my kitchen but I have little Norfolk pines in there. I've never been able to fit a tree stand in a galvanized bucket, much to my dismay. How is your cute little kitchen tree propped in there and do you keep it watered? I'm clueless over here. :)

  3. Very cute! Yes, I normally do.. with mini cookie cutters & mini kitchen utensils & tiny gingerbread ornaments. But! This year the flu bug and general lack of motivation, so not much decking of the halls. Your little tree is adorable ♥ -Tammy

  9. This is darling Dawn, your little ornaments are the perfect touch to a kitchen tree and of course I love the bucket, some years I have one in the kitchen but not this year. I do have a small tree top in the kitchen eating area that is decorated with popcorn and cranberries. Its actually the top off a Christmas tree and fits perfect on the table. Thanks for sharing.
